The orthogonal 10:1 ratio gear adopts a 90° intersecting shaft design, enabling efficient power transmission in compact spaces. With a 10:1 gear ratio, it effectively reduces motor speed while significantly increasing output torque, making it ideal for reducers that require high torque and stable performance.




Materials and Heat Treatment


This gear is typically made of premium alloy steels (such as 20CrMnTi) and undergoes carburizing, quenching, and gear grinding processes. The tooth surface hardness can reach 58–62 HRC, providing excellent wear resistance and high fatigue strength to ensure long-term operational reliability.




Machining and Precision of Orthogonal 10:1 Ratio Gear


The gear is manufactured using CNC precision machining and tooth surface grinding, with strict control over tooth alignment errors and backlash. This ensures low noise and high efficiency during high-speed and heavy-load operation. Backlash can be controlled to ≤20 arc-min, with high-precision versions achieving ≤5 arc-min, making it suitable for automation and precision transmission applications.
